EXIT REALTY SOUTHERN Hosts 2nd Annual Cheers for CASA Fundraiser, Raising $17,121.29 for Court Appointed Special Advocate Volunteers

Lake Charles, LA | May 4, 2023 - EXIT REALTY SOUTHERN, together with its dedicated associates, successfully organized the 2nd annual Cheers for CASA event on May 4, 2023. This fundraising event aimed to support the Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) volunteers who tirelessly serve children throughout Southwest Louisiana facing allegations of abuse or neglect.

With over 400 new cases every year, CASA volunteers play a vital role as the eyes and ears of the court, providing much-needed support to children who have been removed from their families. These compassionate individuals dedicate countless hours and resources to ensure the well-being of their CASA kids, carrying a tremendous burden and responsibility.

EXIT REALTY SOUTHERN and its associates are deeply committed to this cause due to the urgent need it addresses in our communities. Recognizing that not everyone has experienced such hardships, we firmly believe that every child deserves a safe and nurturing environment. The Cheers for CASA event allows us to give back to those who selflessly dedicate themselves to helping local children and families navigate the complexities of the court system.

The Cheers for CASA event encompassed various engaging activities, including a ticket drop raffle with over 27 high-end items, live music performances, VIP Table Sponsors, and a delightful catered meal with refreshments. We extend our sincere gratitude to everyone at EXIT REALTY SOUTHERN, including our agents and staff, as well as our esteemed affiliates within the real estate industry, such as mortgage lenders, home inspectors, insurance agents, and real estate agents from other area firms. Their participation and unwavering support were crucial to the success of this event.

Through the collective efforts of all involved, the Cheers for CASA event raised a remarkable net total of $12,121.29. Additionally, the generous $5,000 matching contribution from the Spirit of EXIT brought the grand total donation to CASA to an impressive $17,121.29. Last year, in conjunction with the Spirit of EXIT, this event raised a total of $11,500. To date, EXIT REALTY SOUTHERN and The Spirit of EXIT Charitable Fund have raised and donated a total of $28,621.29 through the Cheers for CASA event.
